Face Feature Detection and Tracking with 3D Models

چکیده

The aim of the research is to develop improved methods for matching 3D models of faces to 2D images. We are currently implementing a 3D version of a 2D technique known as the Constrained Local Model (CLM) algorithm. This method uses a joint shape and texture appearance model which generates a set of region template detectors. By generating templates using the joint model and the parameter estimates, correlating the templates with the target image and optimising the shape parameters the template can be adapted to the target image.
